Party for 6!
There is nothing more beautiful than the experience of carrying a child and starting/expanding a family.
In December of 2018, one of my Ates’ (Filipino translation for older sister - also a term of respect of an older woman that isn’t an aunt) trusted me to capture her maternity photos for her family. I never had the opportunity or preferred platform to share some of the portraits until now!
For this particular shoot, I struggled with the harsh lighting and shadows from the sun being directly over us. (Note to self: never shoot at noon). At the time, I wasn’t an expert with editing shadows, therefore I had to constantly move my subjects directly in the sunlight, which doesn’t do well for the eyes.
Eventually, the sun changed position and we were able to get some amazing shots next to the infamous lake at Piedmont Park.
With a few recent edits, I gladly share with you the maternity/family shoot.
